We have the pleasure of working with a shipping specialist who are based in Ipswich who are looking to recruit an Operations/Customer Services Assistant.
The purpose of the role is to play an integral part of the administration process ensuring all deliveries/releases are processed on arrival. You will also be responsibe for ensuring specific customer requirements and procedures are followed and accurate – reporting or highlighting any concerns along the way. You will be involved in the following responsibilities and duties:
This role would suit someone who has worked in a similar position, but most importantly someone who thrives in a busy and at times demanding environment. If you love getting involved and thrive on the delivery of service – you will enjoy this operational administration post.
It is imperative you have some previous experience of working in a logistics environment including a role with a financial slant as attention to detail along with accuracy is required for the invoicing element. Strong all-round IT skills are essential.
You will need to be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision – so a level headed and grounded work ethic is essential.
