Welcome to Staffbank recruitment.

We have the pleasure of working with a well established manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Ipswich who are looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Transport Administrator.

You will be involved in the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Preparing orders for vehicle movements
  • Data input – using Excel
  • Raising warehouse picking orders
  • Dealing with proofs of delivery
  • Confirming delivery schedules
  • Dealing with all queries relating to collection/delivery issues
  • Extensive liaison with both clients and colleagues

For this role you will need to be a very strong communicator and thrive on working in an upbeat and busy office. You will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven customer facing experience
  • Working knowledge of a transport department
  • Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Basic geographical knowledge of the UK
  • Strong team player
