We have the pleasure of working with a well established logistics & warehousing company based near Ipswich who are looking to recruit experienced Transport planner’s (x2).

Firstly, this company is big on work ethics and strives towards excellence and growth.  Personally, you will need to be a strong team player with aspirations to always excel and achieve.  Our client invests in their staff, therefore it is critical you have have the correct drive to support their 5 year growth plan.  Our client is constantly working towards continuous improvement as they grow, so want to ensure both workforce and environment is evolving.

We are looking to fill the following positions:

Option 1:

Transport Planner

05.00am – 14.00pm

• Experience and knowledge of Network Palletising
• Inputting and dealing with invoicing
• Transport planning
• Dealing with clients, drivers and internal colleagues

Option 2:

Transport Planner

08.30 – 17.00

• Transport planning
• Routing & scheduling
• Maximising all deliveries as cost effectively as possible
• Dealing with drivers
• Dealing with queries and problems
• Knowledge of running UK trucks essential

Both roles require current experience but most importantly you must be meticulous with your way of working.  We all know the transport world can be stressful, so please ensure you have a real pragmatic approach to how you work.
